She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Taaffe; her son Tom Taaffe; her siblings, Marilyn Keane and Jim Doherty; and her grandson Jeff Arnott.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Mirenic (Bill), Bill Taaffe (Kim), Janice Kirk (Tim), Barb Sobol (Conrad) and Marilyn Paez (Michael); and her siblings, Alice Rooney, Dan Doherty, Tim Doherty (Barb) and Eileen Doherty. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
