She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eppenstein and Virginia Eppenstein; and her brother Bob Eppenstein (Sue). She is survived by: her spouse Lonnie Smith Sr.; her children, Lainie Hippleheuser (David), Beth Ward (John) and Lonnie Smith Jr. (Caroline); her grandchildren, Nathaniel Hippleheuser, Eric Hippleheuser, Jonathan Ward, Joshua Smith and Maddie Ward; and her siblings, Ann Norkus (Tony), Bill Eppenstein and Sue Creamer (George). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
