She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown and Martha Brown (Polacek); and her brother Robert Brown. She is survived by: her husband Norman Jansky; her sons, Michael Phillips Sr. (Karen), Norbert Phillips Jr. (Valerie) and Brian Phillips (Kim); her stepsons, Kenneth Jansky (Julie) and Robert Jansky (Chriss); her siblings, Ray Brown (Caroline), J. C. Brown (Audrey), Linda Brown and Howard Maag; and her grandchildren, Michael Phillips Jr. (Nicole), Scott Phillips, Payton Phillips, Reagan Phillips, Jessica Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Gianna Jansky, Andrew Jansky, Gavin Jansky and Thomas Jansky.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Brain Tumor Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
