Janet R. Swiatkowski Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet R. Swiatkowski (Frankfort, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sikorski and Veronica Sikorski; her sister Marie; her husband Joseph H. Swiatkowski; and her children, John and Antionette.
She is survived by: her children, Ashley, Stephanie, Bernadette Smietana (Andrew) and Kenneth (Valerie); and her grandchildren, Ashley and Stephanie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Jude's Church (241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet's Memory to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
