It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy J. Bentivenga of Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Guy J. Bentivenga to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzino Bentivenga and Marie Bentivenga (Kukula); his former wife Doris Bentivenga (Sauer); and his brother Vincent Bentivenga. He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Spallina Bentivenga (Shapiro); his children, Michael Bentivenga, Jimmy Bentivenga, Karen Bentivenga and Stephen Bentivenga; his stepsons, James Spallina Jr. (Erica) and Joseph Spallina (Danielle); his stepbrother Sam Deane (Clare); and his grandchildren, Joseph and Arden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A prayer was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St Mary's Catholic Church (19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (19500 S Cottage Grove Ave, Glenwood, IL 60425).
