He is survived by: his wife Barbara Coates (Blay); his children, Michael Coates (Jennifer Drazan) and Melody Hartnell (Robert); his grandchildren, Bryan Hartnell (Val), Jeremy Coates, Amanda Hartnell, Matthew Coates (Bre) and Marissa Coates; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Madison, McKayla, Kyrs, Devyn, Stephan, Mason, Gracee, Daxon, Harper, Leo, Isaiah, Ivory and Ava.
