He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Pohlman; his daughters, Lisa and Julie Pohlman-Zordan; his parents, Aldo Zordan and Virginia Zordan of Mokena; his brothers, David Zordan (Janet McGrath), Larry (Merri Zordan) and Terry (Kate Zordan); his mother-in-law Nancy J. Pohlman (Doug) of New Lenox; his siblings-in-law, Susan and Larry Hug of Joliet; and his nieces and nephews, David, Brian, Daniel, Helen Zordan, Amy (Jon Spence), Elizabeth (Nick Juarez), Josh Jeffrey (Jen), Larissa (Chris Barker), Emma Zordan, Doug and Lauren Hug.

Memorials may be made in remembrance of Alan to the UChicago Medicine Comprehensive, Cancer Center where he received excellent care.
