We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2024, at the age of 33, Kyle Evan Bernett of Fox River Grove, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Kathleen Hofer Bernett and Terry Bernett of Des Plaines, IL.; his siblings, Tim Bernett (Brie Thomas) and Kaitlyn Bernett; his niece Joanna; his nephew Daniel Syrotiouk; his stepmother Carolyn Bernett; his stepsiblings, Ryan Donovan (Ashley) and Lindsay Donovan (Lucy); his friends, Matt, Ike, Oak and Brian (Pious Piper); and his pets, Bubo and Noodles. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Donations may be made in Kyle's name to an animal rescue organization of your choice.

“We are so sorry for your loss! Kyle always had a smile on his face and brightened up a room with his wonderful disposition. Our dogs Bruno and Summit loved him so much as well. He was a wonderful dog sitter when we would go out of town. He had so much wisdom that he shared with everyone he met. We will keep him in our prayers. Rest in peace Kyle! Kathy and Al”
