He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joe, Anne Skiba, Alfred Sr. and Margaret Schladt. He is survived by: his wife Melissa; his daughters, Emily Schladt (Matt Stelmasek) and Olivia Schladt; his parent Barbara Schladt; his sisters, Diane Liigsoo (Ron) and Sue Mahn (Cory); his parents-in-law, Dave and Brenda Jones; his brothers-in-law, Dave Jones (Jenn) and Mike Jones (Colleen); and his nieces and nephews, Allison, Natalie Liigsoo, Daxton Mahn, Brooke, Parker, Sydney, Grace and Madeline Jones. He is also survived by family members and friends.
