It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Schroeder of Fox River Grove, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his brother Herbert; his sister-in-law Ramona Ribbe (Jim); his son-in-law John Capizzi; and his parents, Donald and Pauline.
He is survived by: his children, Pat Capizzi (John), Helen Cobler (Randy) and Jeffrey Schroeder (Barb); his siblings, John Schroeder (Antoinette), Mary Jo Pfeffer (Stephen) and Pixie Sloan (Barney); his grandchildren, Christopher, Douglas, Lance, Brian, Megan, Kaci, Melissa and Scott; and his son Jeff. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
