It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Schroeder of Fox Lake, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Schroeder and Elna Schroeder; his wife Caroline "Bema" Schroeder; his grandson Kenny; and his brothers, Gary Schroeder (Maryann) and Bob Schroeder (Katy).
He is survived by: his children, Linda Matheson (Al), William C. Schroeder (Joy), Thomas Schroeder (Susan) and Dawn Hauser (Robert); his grandchildren, Jill, Tammy (Erick), Stephanie, William R. (Carolyn), Brandon, Danielle, Wesley (Rebecca), Casey, Andrew (Sarah), Kelly (John), Candice (Chris) and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Lauryn, Ethan, Kylie, Cameron, Zoey, Jaxon, William C., Logan, Lucas, Leah, Anthony, Tyler, Emily, Zander, Damon, Cody, Collin and Celene; and his siblings, Jack Schroeder (Shirley), Larry Schroeder (Teresa), Terry Schroeder (Grace), Ronnie Schroeder and Nancy Palasz (late Dennis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
