He was predeceased by: his parents, John Motroni and Anne Motroni (Gracious); his son John Philip; and his sisters, Virginia Ward (late Ed) and Molly Mesmer (late Mick).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Hanssen; his children, Kathleen Reid (Lee), Ronald Motroni and Tina Fitzgerald (Kevin); his sister Rosemary Even (Norm); and his daughter-in-law Maureen Motroni (Robert O'Leary). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great- great grandchildren.
