It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul David Adkins of Fox Lake, Illinois, born in Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisha Adkins and Daisy Adkins; and his siblings, Josephine McKinney, Barbara Hill, Janice Ratliff and Vernel Lee Adkins.
He is survived by: his wife Youlia Jewa; his son Jeffrey D. Adkins of Fox Lake, IL; and his sisters, Beulah Ratliff (Fred) of Asheboro, NC and Denna O'Quinn (Eddie) of Clintwood, VA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
