He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. McGarry and Helen McGarry; and his siblings, Larry, Judy, Louis "Dennis" and James "Jimbo" McGarry.
He is survived by: his daughter Ginger VanDaalwyk (Dan) of Stevens Point, WI; and his sisters, Jackie Swenson (late Ray) of Las Vegas, NV and Diane Wolsek (Mark) of St. Petersburg, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Per the August 30, 2021, State of Illinois Mask Mandate, all people must wear a face mask while inside the funeral home.
