It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jamie Lynn Chavez (Fox Lake, Illinois), born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A Patterson Jr. and April Lynn Desoto; her grandparents, Sandra "Sandy" Mckeone and John "Bud" Patterson; her great-grandparent John Heber Jr.; her great-uncle Robert Ratliff; and her great-aunt Jerra Lester.

She is survived by: her husband Roberto Chavez; her siblings, Anton Lutz, Tehya, Alana and Makaylee Martin; her nephews, Jayden and Jeremiah Smith; her cousins, Jason, Kevin, Leo, Dan, Calvin, Christy, Tammy, Luke, Tiffany, Patrick and Julie; her aunts and uncles, James (Jill Patterson), Jason Patterson, Pat Patterson, Karla Patterson and Tina Plonka; her stepfather Shamus (Crystal Martin); and also, Juanita and Roberto Chavez. She is also survived by her dogs, friends, and family.
