With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James C. Garrett of Fox Lake, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Garrett and Dorothy Garrett; and his sister Charlene Huhnstock. He is survived by: his wife Genie Garrett; his children, Jason Garrett (Nancy) and Emily Garrett (Chris); his grandchildren, Ruby, Eloise, Grace, Arloa, Otto James and CoraRose; and his sister Betty Garrett. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
