He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoes and Jeanette Hoes; and his brother-in-law Joe Kitten (Lynn). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jerry"; his children, Jody L. Gerretsen and Jeff R. Gerretsen; his granddaughter Alyssa M. Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Hunter J. Bychowski and Autumn M. Bychowski; his brothers, Kenneth A. Hoes (Livi) and Edward W. Hoes (Kathy); his nephews, Mike Kitten (Jeni) and Robert Kitten (Mick); and his godchild Taylor Zarr-Gaylor.
