We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Frank Jiracek of Fox Lake, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Jiracek and Josephine Jiracek; his daughter Pam Luth; and his granddaughter Alicia. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Joan Fox of St. Charles, Bob Jiracek (Deb) of Columbus, OH, Jennifer Clausen (Matt) of Johnston, IA, Wally Luth (Brenda) of Waukegan, Laura Fraider (Charlie) of Frankfurt and Lonna Westergren of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Devlin, Ryan McKay, Jake Fox, Jim, Tim Jiracek, Kyle, Grant Clausen, Ariana Rath, Rachelynn, Colton Luth, Tamara Demenis (Arnas), Brianna Massie (Shane) and Kaleigh Wheeler (Landon); his great grandchildren, Liam Penny, Kinsley Massie, Adeline, Scarlett Wheeler and Lillyana Rath; his cousin Dale Kadlecek (Karla); and his friends, Bernie Crouthers (Rich), Veronica, Lester Rieck, Mimi and Butch Cruising.

Interment will be private. Per CDC guidelines, vaccinated people are not required to wear face masks while in the funeral home or church; unvaccinated people will be require to wear masks while inside the funeral home and church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Bede Parish, the American Cancer Society, or the cancer-research organization of your choice, appreciated.

Carlos Hunt wrote a sympathy message

“Pat and Family Frank was a real friend while in Basic Training at Ft. Polk, in 1957. It was really tough, but Frank made us all feel much better with his uplifting spirit. I wish we could have reconnected sooner. We had a trip scheduled for your area last year, but Covid 19 killed that plan. God has another saint in his presence. God Bless!
