She is survived by: her close friend Ernest C. York; her father Gerald Marlatt; her husband Ernest C. York; and her children, Alan Marlatt, Ernest D. York (Breanne), Robert York, April Locke (Sakou) and Daniel York (Paige). She is also survived by 3 grandsons.

“I am so sorry to hear about Fabiola. We worked together teaching at her middle school where she taught. I taught across the hall from her as a special education teacher. She was not only a colleague but a friend. My condolences to Fabiola's husband and family. She was a dedicated special education teacher who would spend a lot of time after school trying to better herself as a teacher and we would talk about teaching and life.
