Edward H. Wirtz Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward H. Wirtz Jr. of Fox Lake, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward H. Wirtz Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ann Wirtz, Sr. (Mullins); and his sister Jean Wirtz. He is survived by: his father Edward H. Wirtz,; his wife Jacqueline L. White; his children, Kathleen Truckenbrod (Scott), Elizabeth Pruitt (Randy) and Scott Wirtz (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Kassidy Conroy (Mark), Shelby, Colby, Keeley Truckenbrod, Dakota (Morgan), Caden (Lexie) and Delaney Pruitt; his great grandchildren, Sullivan, Beatrice and Lucille Pruitt; and his siblings, Joan Zega (late Ronald), James Wirtz (Sharon) and Marion Miller (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home (8103 Wilmot Rd, Spring Grove, IL 60081). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (2302 W Church St, Johnsburg, IL 60051).
