He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Peters and Marguerite Peters (Kane); and his sister Gloria Rose. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Heitman Vogel; his children, Trent Vogel of Quincy and Tiffeny Vogel (Jeffrey Conte); his grandsons, Gavin Vogel, Oliver Vogel and Blaine Covert; his nephew Dan Rose (Christy); his great-nephew Bradley Rose (Angela); his great-niece Kristi Vicary (Eric); and also, Declan and Trevor.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Association or to the Quincy Humane Society.
