She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Thenhaus and Ruby Thenhaus (Zimmerman); her sisters, Helen Hoffman and Barbara Thenhaus; her brothers-in-law, Don Duesdieker and Jim Bower; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Duesdieker; her nieces, Mary Bower and Lori Potts; and her in-laws, Charles Sr. and Alida Duesdieker.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Duesdieker, Scot Duesdieker (Kimberly), Peggy Duesdieker and Diane Fisher (Gary); her grandchildren, Chris Duesdieker (Suzanne), Nicole Duesdieker (Scotty Emerick), Mathew Duesdieker, Chris Fisher (Chelsey Hanneken) and Whitney Baumgartner (Cory); her great grandchildren, Sylvina Duesdieker, Cru Duesdieker, Jackson Baumgartner, Parker Baumgartner and Jameson Emerick; her sister Ruth Shireman (Myrl); her brother-in-law Brad Hoffman (Suzanne); and her close friend Charlene Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her commitment to service was evident through her volunteer work with the Food Pantry at Lutheran Church of St. John, the Alter Guild, and RSVP.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Pantry at Lutheran Church of St. John or to Peggy Duesdieker to help the family with final expenses.
