It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Alice Grimes of Forreston, Illinois, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Susanke and Patricia Susanke (Harting). She is survived by: her husband George Grimes of Forreston; her stepchildren, Jason Grimes (Nikki) of Ashton and Jessica Haymes (Chris) of Davis Junction; her nieces, Casey Schultz (Danielle), Lauren Susanke and Nicole Susanke; and her stepgrandchildren, Megan, Kaitlyn, Robert and Taylor.
A memorial has been established in Valerie's memory.
