With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Kay Shade of Forreston, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on June 13, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hille and Irene Hille (Stevens); her husband Paul Shade; and her brother Bud. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Sweitzer (Kim) of Mt. Carroll and Kathy Gantz (Dennis) of Forreston, IL; her grandchildren, Melissa Giffrow (Rob Holt), Kristen Tornow (James), Kimberly Gallagher (Ron), Casey Sweitzer (Sammy Winters) and Courtney Sweitzer; her stepgrandchildren, Jenny and Matt; her sister Karen Rouse of Rockford, IL; her friend Shirley Francois; and her pet Dixie. She is also survived by her 10 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
