He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Smyth and Betty Lou Smyth (Rinderman). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Michael Dietmeier (Heather) of Ridott and Jennifer Dietmeier of Freeport; and his siblings, Leslie Smyth (Rosemary) of Jennings, Florida and Diane Asche (Larry) of Naples, Florida.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
