She is survived by: her former husband John Garrity; her husband Kenneth Bachman; her daughters, Joy Eklund (John) of Mason and Karen Ruter (Keith) of Forreston; her grandchildren, Dr. Aaron Ruter (Brittney), Margo Hawk (Jason), Karl Eklund (Anais) and Benjamin Eklund; her stepchildren, Kenneth "Buck" Bachman and Dawn Arndt (Kurt); and her sister Sophie Jongsma of Orland Park. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Marion's memory.
