She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl K. Brown and Marian H. Brown (Weaver); her son-in-law Douglas Vedra; her siblings, Harvey Brown (Sue), Everett Brown and Laurel Hippen; and her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Juergens and Verlo DeWall.
She is survived by: her husband Donald DeWall of Forreston, IL; her children, Louanne Vedra Glisan (Ron), Joanne Canfield (Rick), Susanne Janssen (Brian), Hospers, Deanne Wagner (Roger) of Yorktown, VA, Darrell DeWall (Kathy) and Freeport, II; her siblings, Elinor Patrick (Jim), Paul Brown (Carol) and Nina Moring (Daryl); her sister-in-law Diane Brown of Milledgeville, IL; and her in-laws, Eldon, Elsie DeWall, Leola Juergens, Ardath DeWall, Anita and Bob DeVries. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren plus one on the way, three step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL and the Brick Church Cemetery Fund.
