Marguerute F. Green Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerute F. Green of Forreston, Illinois, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kampen and Luella Kampen (VanRaden); her former husband Paul Simler; her husband William Green; her siblings, Donald, Lillian, Burness and Phyllis; and her daughter-in-law Barb Simler.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Simler of Machesney Park, Derf Simler (Andrea) of Kankakee and Holly Jacobs of Rockford; her friend Jay Jacobs of Lanark; her grandchildren, Dan Bennett, Chris Bennett, Justin Jacobs (Theresa), Josh Jacobs and Abigail Jacobs; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Jacobs, Kyle, Dain and Hannah Bennett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Forreston Reformed Church or Rockford Rescue Mission.
