He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sellers and Adah Sellers (Lux); and his son David Sellers. He is survived by: his wife Helen Sellers; his daughter Diane Tawil; his stepchildren, Tina Cannova (Fandel) of Freeport, IL and Roger Fandel of Sacramento, CA; and his grandchildren, Jason Lehman, Bryce Lehman, Sara Swift, Anne Kenna, Andrea Teuber, Joshua Teuber, Erin Mousel, Tamsun Pierce and Roger Fandel. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
