It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lee Runte of Forreston, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Runte and Bernita Runte (Diehl); and his daughter Gwen Runte. He is survived by: his son Luke Runte (Laura) of Polo; his sisters, Julie Golden of Newton, KS and Diane Kuelling (Robert) of Forreston, IL; and his grandchildren, Logan Runte, Cielo Runte, Kayden Barndt, James Runte and Finnegan Runte.
