She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert, Jr. and Anna Mary Albert (Wolfensberger); her husband Jim Akins; her sons-in-law, Mike Mulder, Dave Diamond and Loran Wilken; and her grandson Jamie Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Kriss Mulder of German Valley, IL, Jesse Akins (Jody) of Forreston, IL, Kathy Wilken of Adeline, IL, Jean Diamond of Springfield, IL and Joe Akins (Brenda) of Forreston, IL; her sister Leona Wilken (Dale) of German Valley, IL; her brothers-in-law, John Akins (Wilma) of Forreston, IL and Jeff Akins of Forreston, IL; and her goddaughter Julialyn Shedd of Malta, IL.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for Faith Lutheran Church in Alice's memory.
