She is survived by: her children, Terry Lockyear of Chandler, IN and Kathy Barnes (Steve) of Forrest, IL; her grandchildren, Tonya, Tommy Lockyear, Laura Bischler (Randy), John Summers Jr. and Alan Cheatham Jr. (Jeni); her great grandchildren, Alexis Schmidt (Hanson), Zach Lockyear, Abigail Smith (Charles), Devin Bischler (Bradlie) and Madison Bischler; and her great great grandchildren, Sydney, Josh, Allen Lockyear, Ryan Rogers, Mia, Hunter, Callum Schmidt, Jerzey, Zaylen Smith, Terrell Watkins and Nash Bischler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Velma's memory may be made to the Mt. Olive Church Benevolence Fund.
