It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald John Mueller Sr. of Forrest, Illinois, born in Saint Charles, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mueller and Edna Ifft Mueller; his siblings, Robert Mueller, Nancy Steffen and Martha Jean Mueller; his daughter-in-law Diane Mueller (Slagel); and his grandson Tyler Mueller.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Schaffer (Kevin), Ron Mueller Jr. (Vicki), John "Jay" Mueller (Jolene), Jeannie Fairchild (Tommy) of Port Charlotte, FL, Sarah Wettstein (Doug) of Bastrop, TX, Stan Mueller (Kristen), Stacey (Tonda), Jeff Mueller (Sarah), Charity Atteberry (Andy) of Bastrop, TX, Rebecca Dotterer (Clint) of Westminster, CO, Tim Mueller (Myra) and Ben Mueller (Susan); and his siblings, Donna Edelman of Fairbury, Joanne Steidinger (Charles) of Fairbury, Charles Mueller (Brenda) and Arthur Mueller (Marlene) of Clinton, WI.. He is also survived by 57 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Apostolic Christian Church (201 Church St, Forrest, IL 61741).
