He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Vaughan and Ruth Vaughan (Roy); his brother Johnnie Vaughan; his sisters-in-law, Linda, Darlis and Peggy Vaughan; his father-in-law Fred Rieger; and his niece Kristin Vaughan.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Rieger; his children, Erin Hunt (Jassen) of Edwards, IL and Adam Vaughan of Rockford, IL; his siblings, Jim Vaughan (Sharon) of Forrest, Mick Vaughan of Forrest, Mary Vaughan of Forrest and Tom Vaughan of Fairbury; and his mother-in-law Jane Rieger of Forrest, IL.
The family's request is the donations be made to Forrest United Methodist Church or Pheasants Forever.
