It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Irene Elbert of Forrest, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kamm and Irene Kamm (Thielbar); her brothers, Vernon and Al Kamm; and her husband Dr. E. Duane Elbert.
She is survived by: her son Dieter Elbert (Rachael); her granddaughters, Rebecca and Katherine Elbert of Forrest; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Kamm and Abbie Speck of Washington. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
The family wishes that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Forrest, or the Alzheimer's Association.
