With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Mietzner (Forrest, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis M. and Anne M. Cunningham (Grankey); and her siblings, Barbara White and Louis M. Cunningham, Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Paul R. Mietzner; her daughter Ellen Odum (George) of Strawn; her granddaughters, Katie Hanson (Shane) of Millington, IL, Kelly Scaggs (Steven) of LeRoy, IL, Maggie Donovan (Ryne) of Chenoa, IL and Molly Gerber (Joel) of Chicago, IL; her great grandchildren, Raven, Kade, Tanis, Landon, Deryn, Lexi and Brayden; her sister Suellen Starks (James) of Chatsworth, IL; and her sister-in-law Ruth Cunningham of Watseka, IL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Athritis Foundation (arthritis.org).
