She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alfred and Ethel Louise Andreas Maplethorpe; and her brother Jim Maplethorpe. She is survived by: her brother Jay Maplethorpe of Forrest; her nephew Collin Maplethorpe (Princess); and her great-nephew William Maplethorpe.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston County Humane Society.
