He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Somers and Christine Somers (Donovan); his spouse Beverly King; his son Michael Somers; and his brothers, Frank and John Somers.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Hoogstraat (Randy) and Todd Somers; his daughter-in-law Tracy Somers; his grandchildren, Matt (Marcie), Kaylan (Jordan), Mandy, Alice Kay, Courtney (Blake), Jonah, Cassie (Daniel) and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Everett, Emery, Pryor, Quinlee, Tripp and Lily; his sister Mary Steenhausen; and his friend Lee.
