He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Dick" and Velma Ahrends Jones; and his daughter-in-law Terri Jones. He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Spangler; his wife Lena; and his children, Ernie Jones (Beth) of Vancouver, WA, Jerry Jones of Pontiac, Ron Jones (Patricia) of Flanagan, Dale Jones (Valerie) of Pontiac, Randy Mauser (Kim) of Saunemin, Shirley Freeland of Gibson City, Linda Diemer (Al Hoffman) of Saunemin, Lori Cheek (Dennis) of Rantoul, Jim Mauser (Rose) and Sharon McGuire (Tim) of Fairbury. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 bonus grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brother, Jim Jones of Pontiac; and sister.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Southeastern Livingston County Ambulance Service, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, or the donor's choice of charity.
