With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald C. Hughes of Forrest, Illinois, born in Hinsdale, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2021 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Hughes and Lorraine Hughes (Rich); his wife Harriet Marie Aubele; his children, Donald Hughes (Shannon) of Washington, IL, Jessica Mangler (Bryant) of Dubuque, Kathleen Huter of Forrest, IL and Christopher (Eric Smith) of St. Paul, MN; his siblings, Robert Hughes (Betty) of Dwight, IL, Carl Hughes of Pontiac, Isabel Owens (Leroy) of Pontiac and Debra Churchill (Mike) of Lockport, IL; his grandchildren, Emersyn, Jayce, Abigail Hughes, Dane, Kennedy Mangler and Aidan Huter; and his sisters, Brenda and Carol Ann Hughes. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
