With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly J. Somers of Forrest, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice King and Lillie King (Runyon); her son Michael Somers; and her brothers, Jim King and Harlan King.
She is survived by: her husband James Somers; her children, Pam Hoogstraat (Randy) and Todd Somers; her daughter-in-law Tracy Somers; her grandchildren, Matt (Marcie), Kaylan (Jordan), Mandy, Alice Kay, Courtney (Blake), Jonah, Cassie (Daniel) and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Everett, Emery, Pryor, Quinlee, Tripp and Lily; and her sister Sharon Brucker.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078.
