He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan; his nieces and nephews, Keith Pitzele (Rita), Perry Pitzele (Wanda), Rabbi Joan Pitzele Sacks (Alan Sacks), Arthur Friedman (Sharon) and Janice Flanzbaum (Joss); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Adam Pitzele (Meytal), Dr. Aaron Pitzele (Amanda), Jordan Tauber (Jon), Joel Pitzele, Rachel Pitzele, Ben Sacks (Samantha), Rachel Sacks, Brandon Friedman (Faith), Sammie Flanzbaum and Isaac Flanzbaum; his stepchildren, David Weidling (Sherry Nordstrom), Sandi Weindling (Michael Murray) and Michael Weidling (Kendra); and his siblings, Melvin Pitzele (Rae), Irma Friedman (late Eugene) and Sidney Pitzele (late Cecile).
