She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Markosek and Antonia Markosek; her siblings, Catalina Markosek and Frank Markosek (Margaret); and her parents-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Meyer.
She is survived by: her husband David; her sister Maria Zorjan (Karl); and her siblings-in-law, Richard Meyer (Barbara), Donna Sauter (Mark) and Robert Meyer (Lorelei). She is also survived by relatives and cousins in Slovenia and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Federation of the Blind of Illinois, the American Cancer Society or the Slovenian Catholic Mission.
