He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Gibson Sr. and Rosa Lee Gibson; and his brother Reginald Gibson Sr. (Kim). He is survived by: his wife Shannon Gibson; his siblings, Samuel Gibson Jr., Kenneth Faruq (Helen), Jerome Gibson, Rosemary Gibson and Brenda Brown; his siblings-in-law, Kendall Floyd (Lynette), Stacie Floyd and Sonja Floyd (Levell); his aunts, Minnie Austin, Mazell Campbell and Corrine Bland; his nephew Gavin Floyd; and also Minnie Austin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
