In the vast expanse of eternity, Fela shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Fela farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Groner; her parents, Gronem Drezner and Esther Drezner; and her siblings, Matla, Nastuch and Moshe Drezner.
She is survived by: her son George Groner; and her grandsons, Joshua and Adam Groner.
A shiva was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM, on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 and on Thursday, December 26th 2024. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Northbrook Community Synagogue (2548 Jasper Ct, Northbrook, IL 60062). A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Jewish Waldheim Cemetery - 18th & (1700 S Harlem Ave, Forest Park, IL 60130).
