He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Leroy and Edith Charlene Paup (Cummings); and his siblings, Michael Lee Paup and Myrna Schultz. He is survived by: his girlfriend Dawn Franklin of Forest City; his children, Donald "Don" Paup (Chelsea Goodin) of Marquette Heights, Charlene "Sissy" Paup (Ryen Shyrer) of Eugene and Chase Diegel-Hunt of Pekin; his stepchildren, Willow Franklin of Pekin and Kevin Franklin of Pekin; his grandchildren, Lewis James Paup, Marshall Lukas Paup and Saavy Ophell Shyrer; and his siblings, Melinda Remmel, Matthew Paup, Joy Barnes and Sam Hunt.
