He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Emme and Alma Emme (Steging). He is survived by: his wife Diana of Forest City; his children, Todd Emme (Annie) of Palmyra, MO, Brian Emme of Forest City, Patia Havican (Eric) of Germantown Hills, IL and Beth Lyons (Jason) of Lombard, IL; his grandchildren, Alexis Emme, Ethan Havican, Joseph and Rose Lyons; and his brother Robert Emme (Alice) of Havana, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (21819 N Co Rd 3300 E, Manito, IL 61546).
Memorial contributions can be made in his honor to Camp CILCA, Cardiac Rehab at Mason District Hospital, or St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manito.
