With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Esther Cookson of Forest City, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hofmann and Louise Hofmann; her husband Donald B. Cookson; and her siblings, Joanne Hofmann, Janette Hofmann, Judith Hofmann and Ronald Hofmann.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Cookson, Janet Cookson and Aletta Cookson (Danny); her son-in-law John L. Bader; her grandchildren, Tabatha Schultz (Joe), Felicia Anglin (Cody), Toni Bell (Daniel), Dale Cookson II (Kat), Heather Wilson (Stephen), Justin Hull (Tiffany), Samantha Monroe (Sean), John N. Bader, Toby Davis (Maddison), Damian Harper (Madison) and Ashton Monks; and her brother Donald A. "Mouse" Hofmann. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
