He is survived by: his wife Bernice Johnson (Clark); his children, Vernice Warren (Michael), Vernell III Johnson (Anita) and Verlon Johnson (Sean); his siblings, Dorothy Johnson and Laverne Tobias; his grandchildren, Vernon Johnson (Ebony), Darius Johnson, Avery Johnson (Geneva), Michelle Warren, Mikayla Warren, Vernell Johnson IV, Carrington Johnson, Troy Johnson and Addy Johnson; and his great grandchild Elin Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
