He is survived by: his wife Margaret Butler (Peggy); his children, Terri Butler (Bob Bodee), Joe Butler, Jim Butler (Janet), Sheila Butler, Tim Butler (Linda), Mike Butler and Peter Butler; and his grandchildren, Bradley Bodee, Colleen Bodee, Mairead Butler, Carys Butler, Fisk Butler, Breanna Butler, Bria Thompson, Peyton Butler and Jordyn Butler.
